 My journey in the legal profession began with a firm belief in hard work and a commitment to serving communities that need it most. I put myself through community college, graduating from Palm Beach Community College, before transferring to Florida State University. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Social Science there in 2012, balancing a rigorous academic schedule while working full-time as a foreclosure paralegal. 

 When I set my sights on law school, I was actively discouraged from attending due to a tough legal job market. Believing that opportunities existed for those willing to look where the need was greatest, I trusted my instincts, attended the University of Wyoming College of Law, and earned my Juris Doctor in 2016. After graduation, facing a grueling three-month job search, I temporarily returned to Florida. Determined to find a path forward, I expanded my horizon north to Montana—a state I had never visited and knew little about. That leap of faith resulted in two judicial clerkship interviews, and when the Hon. Richard Simonton offered me a position in Glendive, I packed my things from storage and drove across the country to a town where I knew no one, ready to work. 

I originally moved to Montana for a job—a story shared by my husband, Aariad Ream (known to many as Kelly). He was first stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, and after honorably finishing his military service with the Air Force, he joined the Montana Highway Patrol. I came for the work, but I stayed because of the people. Over the past 10 years, the neighbors, friends, and community members I met became family. The people of Montana are truly wonderful, and they are the reason this state became my home.

For my first year and a half here, I had the privilege of clerking for Judge Simonton in Glendive until his retirement, happily continuing my service by clerking for his successor, the Hon. Olivia Rieger. After six dedicated years with the Highway Patrol, our family transitioned to Billings in 2021, where Kelly joined the Billings Police Department. We chose this community to raise our family, which now includes our wonderful four-year-old daughter, Maria.

To continue my dedication to the judiciary after our move, I secured a remote position as a Senior Law Clerk. In the years since, I have guided the transitions of two more retiring judges, serving the Hon. Randal Spaulding and the Hon. David Cybulski until their retirements, and seamlessly continuing my work for the Hon. Adam Larsen and the Hon. Benjamin Fosland. Alongside my service to the Courts, I also started a solo mediation practice, utilizing remote technology to help rural Montana families smoothly navigate custody and domestic transitions during some of life's hardest moments.

Now, I am looking for the next step in my career, and that is serving as the County Attorney for Musselshell and Golden Valley County.
